Seen Around

Been Seen Around

A little trip to Eleven Mile Canyon

Hey, I think Elvis is translating stuff at the bottom of this page into Chinese or something.
Do you see that too?

Sad how we take for granted some things.
Rather than saying I haven't seen much this week, I should be looking up.

This is the view from the worksite.

Some people take entire vacations without a view like this.

Jeepers.

I love bacon, I love sausage, I love Hogzilla.

Boy purportedly tops 'Hogzilla' kill - USATODAY.com .
Haven't seen much this week, so here's that provocative email.

THREE THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:
1. COWS
2. THE CONSTITUTION
3. THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

COWS:
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government
can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the
stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington and they can track
her calves to their stalls? But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal
aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow.

THE CONSTITUTION:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we
just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's
worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.

TEN COMMANDMENTS:
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a
courthouse........You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt
Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
lawyers, judges, and politicians -- it creates a hostile work environment.

I got a little, but it's not June.

Written off at first as bored housewives, three women who go by the All-Broad Fraud Squad are helping the F.B.I.

We only have 'til June 2 to tell El Paso County What! 15% my ass

Start Now. It may not be mortgage fraud, but why pay more now and make next year's comparables that much higher. That would be taxation fraud. That would be our fault.
The website whines 'their hands are full!!' Full of our money. Mail in a request for a revaluation. Just say 2% is enough in these uncertain times. It's our government. Keep it real.

Find your property here. There may be an Online Appeals link that may or may not work.

Lets get busy folks! A stamp is still cheap and everything you need to know is on the back of your tax bill.

I sent some hillybilly furniture over to TimOs today

And I chopped those 10,000 dandelions into 3,000,000,000 seeds. But it looks sharp now.

The New Yorker was interested in Jerry Falwell in 1981. It's a long article divided into 32 pages. But it's the New Yorker...32 cartoons! yahoo

W claims his favorite leisure activity is 'clearing brush'

Not mine.

May have something to do with all those barbs.

Caseys Lumber's Wildfire Mitigation Slash Mulch Program took a leap from community service to crass commercialism with a 40% price increase. Still almost free at Rocky Top Saturdays. Bring a goody for Care and Share.

Dog Walker

You know who this is for. Now you can let those dogs run like the wind while you trim those golden locks.

Conspiracy theory Number One.

The mainstream media never got this, but I got it even as it happened. The phone call goes something like this.

"Hey Jerry, this is Ron. I got this Iran-Contra thing in the news. It hurts. Can you help.?"

"Jim Bakker is raking in millions and my cut so far is zero. Let's scandalize this putz, put him in the news instead of you, and I'll take over his thing and the media will eat it up and America, well ...they'll take what we give them."

Elvis is hidden in this Blog too. First one to find him gets.....well, you know.....

Are They Lying?

The government sees this
but I don't.

How far north does Pikes Peak extend these days?
Blogspot wouldn't let me show what I saw.

So This is Not Seen Around but just the best I could do.

I don't like lilacs particularly, but this is their two days of fame....

Some 'rising sun' art.

I didn't know there were turtle farmers. When I was a kid, turtles and alligators were available at the dime store. I got a couple of turtles, but never, never an alligator.

Turtle Farmers See an Opening for a Recovery

MONROE, La., May 12 (AP) — In 1970, salmonellosis, a disease associated with pet turtles, was diagnosed in 250,000 American children, and by 1975 the Food and Drug Administration had imposed a ban on the sale or distribution of turtles with shells smaller than 4 inches across — the size commonly sold as pets.

Looks cool. Looks uncomfortable.

Must go with this one at another school.

Great looking make-over new house in Hillside. Chimneas are a pet peeve, but this one looks cool a little. Love the garage doors. Love the patio.

See Wolley See Something

This will not become a Cat Blog! I reference hard hitting news stories like this too.
We'll see how long the Gazette keeps it up before I have to VPost it.

Rusty Nail Grove Terrace Point. Yeah! that's it.

TimO reports that the deer ate the Crocus.
I knew they weren't eating dandelions!

Yard art or a real catastrophe?

I don't see any collateral damage. Well maybe the tree.

I'll never know unless I stop and knock on the door, or you do and fill me in.
